My dad Bruce runs BCW Garden Design on his own. The phone would go while he was on the tools, and by the time he got to it that afternoon the person had already booked whoever answered first. Not a better business. Just a faster one.
I watched that happen more times than I can count. So I built Cushy. It texts back the second a call rings out, works out what the job is and where, turns away the ones that aren't a fit, and books the right ones into the calendar.

A bit about me.
I'm Jayden. I grew up around Dad's garden design business, so I've watched good work walk out the door over a missed call more times than I can count. I set up every client myself, and I'm the one you email when something isn't right.
There's no account manager and no ticket queue. That is deliberate, and it's why I only take on a handful of clients at a time.
There are no sales calls, either. I'd rather spend my time setting up clients than selling. Everything's on the site, and if it isn't, email me.

A good reply in seconds beats a perfect one at seven that night. By seven they have already booked someone else. Everything I build is pointed at that first reply.
It has to sound like you.
No “we value your enquiry”. Cushy writes in your words, and it runs a dozen pretend customers through your setup first, so you see the replies before it texts anyone real.
Only where it pays.
At $990 a month it only makes sense if one job covers a year. So I only take on high-ticket businesses, and I tell people honestly when the numbers don't work for them. If it books fewer than 3 qualified quote visits in your first 30 days, your first month is refunded.

It isn't for service-call plumbers and electricians, cleaners, mowing rounds, or businesses with a full-time receptionist. If your jobs are under $15k, Cushy probably won't pay for itself, and I'll tell you that.

- I won't run your ads or rebuild your website. Plenty of people do that. Cushy answers enquiries, qualifies them and books them in.
- I won't take on a business I can't help. If the phone isn't ringing at all, your problem sits upstream of Cushy and I'll tell you when I review your application.
- I won't take on a business where it won't pay. If your jobs are under $15k, Cushy probably won't pay for itself, and I'll tell you that.
- I won't hold you past the 6-month minimum. After that it's month to month, and you cancel by email, no exit conversation.
- Cushy won't message anyone who didn't contact you first. Every reply goes to a person who came to your business, with your name on it and an opt-out that works.
